Presentation about Cohousing

Join us for an engaging and informative presentation about cohousing at the Duncan Library. Cohousing is an innovative approach to community living that fosters collaboration, shared resources, and a strong sense of community. This event is perfect for anyone interested in alternative housing options or seeking to build stronger connections with their neighbors.

The presentation will be led by Yonas Jongkind and members of the Duncan Cohousing Group, who will share their experiences and insights about living in a cohousing community. Yonas is a cohousing consultant with over 20 years of experience in the field, and the Duncan Cohousing Group is a local organization that is working to create a cohousing community in the Duncan area.

During the presentation, you will learn about the benefits of cohousing, including increased social interaction, shared resources, and a greater sense of security. You will also hear about the challenges and rewards of building and living in a cohousing community, and get a glimpse into what daily life is like in a collaborative living environment.

This event is free and open to the public, and all are welcome to attend. Whether you are curious about cohousing or actively seeking a community-oriented housing option, this presentation is a great opportunity to learn more and connect with like-minded individuals.
